Is there a minimum order for a custom mug in Singapore?

At LIMTEH there is no minimum order for a custom mug: you can buy one, and it is printed just for you. Minimum orders come from the print method, not from the mug itself.

Screen printing and pad printing need set-up first. Each colour needs its own screen or plate, and the press has to be lined up before the first mug is printed. That set-up costs the same whether the run is 1 piece or 500, so shops that rely on these methods usually set a minimum quantity to make it worth it.

Digital printing and engraving do not. Our UV printers, sublimation press and laser engraver work straight from a digital file. There is no screen to burn and no plate to make, so the first mug costs the same to set up as the hundredth. That is why we can make anything from 1 unit to thousands on the same machines, and why one name on one mug is a normal order for us, not a special request.

Which custom mug suits a one-off gift?

The ceramic mugs hold 325ml and measure about 8 x 9.5 cm, a classic desk mug size. The Magnum thermal mug is the one to pick for someone who sips slowly through the morning: it holds 600ml, comes with a lid and keeps drinks warm for 2 to 6 hours.

Name, photo or your own design: what can you print on one mug?

Every option works for a single mug, so choose by what the person will recognise straight away: their name, a shared memory or a design you made for them.

• A name. On the Magnum mug you choose Name Only or Icon + Name, type a name of up to 15 characters and pick from 3 fonts. Type the name exactly as it should appear, because the text is case sensitive.
• A photo. On the photo mug, you upload your picture on the product page and choose a layout with or without text. Use the largest, sharpest version of the photo you have, with faces well lit and not cropped at the edge.
• Your own design. Mugs in our design-it-yourself range open in Upload & Customise, where you add your own image and text and see the result on the mug before you order.

How do you order just one custom mug?

Ordering one custom mug takes four steps, all on the product page, with no quote or minimum to agree first.

1. Pick your mug. Browse our personalised drinkware and choose the mug and colour.
2. Add the personalisation. Type the name, upload the photo or open Upload & Customise, depending on the mug.
3. Check before you pay. Read the name letter by letter and confirm the colour, then add it to your cart and check out.
4. We make it. Our team prints your mug, checks it against your order and packs it for delivery.

How long does one custom mug take?

A single mug follows the same timing as any other order: processed within 2 working days; delivery 1 to 3 working days. Bulk orders and peak season (Aug, Nov, Dec) may take slightly longer.

If the mug is a Christmas or year-end gift, order a little earlier than usual, because November and December are our busiest months. Orders above S$50 ship free in Singapore, so if one mug is below that, adding a second gift for someone else can cover the shipping. A single mug is covered by our Correct Name & Design Guarantee too: if the name or design is wrong, or the mug arrives defective or damaged, we remake it free.

What if you need more than one later?

The same mug can go from 1 piece to a whole team without changing how it is made. How we make them

Every mug in this guide is personalised in our Singapore workshop. Photo mugs and printed names run through our own printers, engraved mugs go on our own laser, and the team that prints your mug is the same team that checks it against your order before packing.
